Obituary of David Lee Likens

David Lee Likens was born on January 12, 1971 in Lafayette, Tennessee to the late Donnie Lee Likens and Eva Louise Robinson Likens. He was one of four children born to this union. David was saved and was a member of the Full Gospel House of Prayer. He was employed by the family business, Likens Roofing. He married Cathy Baskerville Likens and they were blessed with five children, one daughter and four sons. Along with his parents, David was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Elmer Likens, and uncle, Bill Likens. David always enjoyed talking about the bible. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. David also liked going to auctions. On Thursday, March 3, 2016, at the age of forty-five years, one month, and twenty days, the Lord called David home. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. David is survived by; Wife, Cathy Likens; Daughter, Amber Likens; Sons, Randy Likens, Donnie Lee Likens "Puddin", Joseph Alan Likens and wife Amanda, and Jacob Lee Likens; Brothers, Donnie Likens and wife Becky, Michael Likens and wife Tammy; Sister, Angie Bandy and husband Billy; Grandchildren, Jayden Barrette, Braison Barrette, and Waylon Barrette; Grandmother, Maggie Dyer; Uncles, Ronnie Likens and Elmer Likens. Funeral services for David Lee Likens were held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at 11am from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Whittemore officiating. Interment followed in the Haysville Cemetery.
