Mrs. Eleanor Owen Lipscomb, age 94 of Hartsville, TN died Wednesday morning, February 25, 2015 at Trousdale Medical Center. Preceded in death by: Husband, Joseph Lipscomb; Brother, James Owen & 2 Sisters, Laura Holder & Minnie Belle Owen. Survived by: 2 Sons, Mr. Joseph (Carolyn) Lipscomb Jr.-Atlanta, GA & Mr. Bailey (Laura Lee) Lipscomb-Munford, TN; 3 Grandchildren, Bennett (Stefanie Gans) Lipscomb, Mary “Sunny” (Josh) Biden & Bailey D. (Emily) Lipscomb; 2 Great Grandchildren, Juliet & Eleanor Biden & Sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Weller-Franklin, TN. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 11:30 AM Saturday, February 28, 2015 conducted by Bro. Jack McCall. Interment will be in the Hartsville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10 AM until service time Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hartsville First Baptist Church and Munford United Methodist Church.
