Obituary of Jerry Allen Wright

Mr. Jerry Allen Wright, age 75 of Hartsville, TN died Wednesday morning, February 10, 2016 at his home. Jerry was raised in Hartsville by Grandparents, Jurd & Woddie Vance. He attended Trousdale County Schools and served his country for three years in the US Army and received and honorable discharge. Jerry worked as a mechanic and truck driver for many years. During retirement Jerry loved working on his farm and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by: Son, Jerry Allen Wright Jr.; Parents, John Allen Wright & Gentry Vance McFarland and Brother, Sammy Stewart. Survived by: Wife, Mrs. Gloria Wright; 2 Daughters, Mrs. Angie (Tracey) Langford-Hartsville, TN & Mrs. Pam (Jeff) Gregory-Hartsville, TN; 5 Grandchildren, Eric (Angela) Langford, Lindsay (Daniel) Boze, Chelsea (Spencer) Anderson , Jordan & Colton Gregory; 3 Great Grandchildren, Van Dallas & Tilly Boze and Oakley Andersson; 2 Brothers, Mr. Wayne (Rachel) Stewart-Mufreesboro, TN & Mr. Rick (Sherry) Stewart-Mt. Juliet, TN and Sister, Mrs. Hazel (Jim) Richardson-Winder, GA. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 2 PM Saturday, February 13, 2016 conducted by Bro. Bobby Hiett. Interment will be in the Green Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 8 PM Friday and 10 AM until service time Saturday.
