<p>Mrs. Retta Auline Driver Kirby, age 94 of Hartsville, TN passed away Thursday morning, October 20, 2016 at Hartsville Convalescent Center, Hartsville, TN.</p> <p>Preceded in death by: Husband of 56 years, Corbain J.L. Kirby; Son, Travis Jackson Kirby and Great Grandson, Christopher Kirby.</p> <p>Survived by: 4 Daughters, Mrs. Lillian (Wilson) Burton-Concord, NC, Mrs. Lena Frances &ldquo;Fran&rdquo; Gross-Hartsville, TN, Mrs. Janice &ldquo;Jan&rdquo; (Ray) Beam-Hartsville, TN and Ms. Lanita Ruth Kirby-San Antonio, TX; 5 Sons, Mr. Glen (Gretta) Kirby-Carthage, TN, Mr. Hal (Ann) Kirby-Lebanon, TN, Mr. Wally (Nancy) Kirby-Pikeville, TN, Mr. Jerrell Dee (Marilyn) Kirby-Carthage, TN and Mr. Steve (Lisa) Kirby-Clarksville, TN; Daughter-in-Law, Mrs. Lou Driver Kirby-Lebanon, TN; 24 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren &amp; 1 Great Great Grandchild; Sister, Mrs. Irene Harper-Lafayette, TN; Extended Family: 9 Step Granddaughters, 2 of which are deceased: Frances &amp; Andi; 2 Step Grandsons, Lane &amp; Zac; 2 Step Great Grandchildren, Azella &amp; Weston and many Nieces and Nephews from several states.<br /><br />Mrs. Kirby was born April 15, 1922. She was a long time homemaker and worked many places outside the home. Retta was chosen to be the breakfast head cook at The Louie B. Nunn Lodge , Barren Co., KY.. She worked at garment factories in Foutain Run, KY, Lafayette, TN and Hartsville, TN.<br /><br />Mrs. Kirby was a long time member of the Church of Christ. A member at Halltown Road Church of Christ in Hartsville since 1997. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends, especially her church family.<br /><br />Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Hartsville Church of Christ conducted by Bro. Steve Kirby and Bro. Michael Grooms. Interment will be in the Driver Cemetery in Macon Co., TN. Visitation with the family will be from 1 to 8 PM Sunday at Anthony Funeral Home, Hartsville, TN and 9 AM until service time Monday at the Church.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
