Obituary of Faye M. Woodard

Faye M. Woodard, age 75 of Portland, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017.  Funeral Service will be Sunday, May 21st at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Eulia Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Saturday, May 20th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 21st from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Woodard was born February 22, 1942 in Evansville, IN to the late Wes Key and Dee Miles Key.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, David Smith Woodard; son, David Wayne Woodard; sisters, Janice Ladd, Bonnie Templeton, and Ruby Wilson; brothers, Albert Johns and Chuck Miles.  She is survived by son, Chris Woodard of Gallatin; daughter, Vanessa Turley and son-in-law Jeff Turley of Westmoreland; brothers, Tommy Miles (Melissa) of Portland and Jimmy Miles (Wanda) of Franklin KY; sisters, Louise Wilson of Portland, Patricia Williams of Portland, and Nita Miles of Portland; 2 grandchildren, Bethany Graves and Matthew Graves; and 1 great grandchild, Leah “Rosie” Stradtner.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
