Obituary of Donald Gentry

Donald Lee Gentry, age 93 of Mt. Juliet, passed away Tuesday, April 14th, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 18th at 11a.m. from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Neal officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will begin Friday, April 17th from 4-8p.m. and continue on Saturday, April 18th from 10a.m. until time of service. Mr. Gentry was born February 18, 1922 in Gainesboro, TN to the late Jim B. and Lena Belle McGuire Gentry. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially fox hunting. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Gentry; sister, Willie Brewington; and son, James R. Gentry. He is survived by loving wife of 73 years, Anne Ruth Gentry; son, Paul (Janet) Gentry, daughter-in-law, Carole Gentry, sister, Jo Brewington; brother, Mack (Anna Frances) Gentry; grandchildren, Tim (Wendie) Gentry, April Gentry, John Gentry, Jay (Danna) Gentry, Al Gentry; and 6 Great-grandchildren, Ellie, James, Kayli, Brylee, Case, and Kendall.
