Obituary of Dorothy "Ma" Joyce Coats

Dorothy “Ma” Coats, age 81, of Lebanon, passed away on October 30, 2015. The Memorial Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, with visitation from 4 p.m. until the service. Mrs. Coats is survived by children: Joyce Dwyer, Je-Nele Farley, Bobbie Bell (Ben), Tina Stafford (Tony), Thomas W. Coats, Lisa Sutton (Vince), David Coats, Janice Honeyman (Michael), Hilda Johnson (Eric), and Diane Ashley; sisters: Brenda Morgan, Marlene Johnson, Joanne Brace, and Betty Manning; grandchildren: Candice Nugent, Patricik Dwyer, Kevin Farley (Anntennette), Brandy Farley (Rick), Michelle Hall (Mike), Amanda Stoops (John), Victor Sullian (Jessica), Erica Stafford (Hunter), Phillip Coats, Justin Coats, Kimberly Bowers (Randy), Keith Sutton (Hailey), Matthew Sutton, Alex Gonzalez, Jonathan Gonzalez, Tyler Honeyman, Kaleigh Honeyman, Roxanne Ashley, Russell Ashley (Lilly), Raymond Ashley, William Johnson, Melissa Johnson, and Michael Johnson; 20 great-grandkids; 3 great-great-grandkids; and numerous others that called her “Ma”. She is preceded in death by husband Thomas Coats, Jr., sons James Hebert and Michael Carlile, father Robert Earl Manning, mother Inez Joyner Manning, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.
