Obituary of Wesley E. Ray

Wesley E. Ray, age 81 of Gallatin passed away Saturday December 26, 2015. Funeral Service will be Wednesday December 30th at Hartsville Pike Church of Christ at 1:00 p.m., with Bro. Doyle Farris and Bro. Brian Jarrett officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens with Clark Ray, Mike Maples, Wesley Kemp, Michael Grigsby, Caleb Bullock, and Randy Bullock serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday December 29th at Hartsville Pike Church of Christ from 3:00 -7:00 p.m. and Wednesday December 30th at Hartsville Pike Church of Christ from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Mr. Ray was born August 10, 1934 in Wayne County to the late Wesley Earl Ray and Gnetta Culp Kyle. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Ella Faye Ray; and brother, Curtis Ray. He is survived by wife, Shelby Newton Bullock Ray of Gallatin; sons, Clark Ray (Kecia) of Nashville, Anthony Ray of Nashville, and step-son, Randy Bullock (Tessa) of Gallatin; daughters, Debbie Maples (Mike) of Waynesboro, step-daughter, Christy Williams (Troy) of Dandrige, and Amy Grigsby (Michael) of Gallatin; brother, Dee Ray of Waynesboro, sister Blondell Lee of Columbia; 2 grandchildren, Emily Rossberg, and Wesley Kemp; 5 step-grandchildren, Caleb Bullock, Trey Williams, Deni Williams, Hannah Bullock, and Myla Grigsby; and 1 step-great-grandchild, Trevan Williams.
