Obituary of Annie Davis Jones

Annie Davis Jones, age 89 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 23rd at 12:00 noon from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Gloria Scott and Rev. Lorin Pedigo officiating. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery with Paul Jones, Phil Jones, Carl Gregory, Wendell Jones, James Luther Hawkins, Jackie Dillehay, Glenn Haynes and Wayne Byrd serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday, January 22nd from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 23rd from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Jones was born February 5, 1926 in Trousdale County, TN. She is preceded in death by parents, Willie and Evie Sloan Byrd; husband, J. C. Jones, brothers, Tommy Byrd, Mitch Byrd, Vance Byrd, William Bennett Byrd and Jim Byrd; sister, Selma Hawkins. She is survived by sons, Charles Jones and Randy Jones (Phyllis) of Gallatin; brothers, Scott Byrd (Norene) of Bethpage, Ralph Byrd of Gallatin and Ray Byrd (Lina) of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Casey Thomason (Chase), Julie Lucas (Michael) and Jason Jones (Auzelle Epeneter); great grandson, Matt Lucas.
