I have worked at RR Donnelley for 40 years. I would always meet Charlie (when he worked 3rd shift) when he was leaving work and I was coming to work in the mornings. He would always speak... making some comment about the weather, work, or simply just saying good morning. Even if we didn't meet in the plant or parking lot, we would pass on Steam Plant Road and he would always wave. I will really miss seeing and taking with him. My prayers are with the family. Charlie will truly be missed by all that knew him!

I am so very sorry to hear Charlie passed away. I had Evan in class at GCoC Pre-school and remember how much Charlie adored him. I'd see Charlie at Food Lion in the morning before work and he was always so cheerful and polite to everyone. Prayers to everyone in the Coward family!!

Worked with Charlie at RR Donnelley for many years, and he never failed to speak or to stop and talk for a few minutes. He loved football and loved talking about the Titans. He will be missed by all his co-workers and friends
