Obituary of Bobby G. Dildy

Bobby G. Dildy, age 82 of Gallatin, passed away Friday July 22, 2016. Funeral Service will be Tuesday July 26th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Rev. John Penfield officiating. Interment will follow at Forrest Lawn Cemetery, with David Didly and grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday July 25th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday July 26th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Mr. Dildy was born November 14, 1933 in Nashville to the late David Rome Dildy and Robbie Clyde Melton Dildy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Helen D. Russell. He is survived by wife of 63 years, Barbara Bennett Dildy of Gallatin; son, David Lawrence Dildy (Rose Morris) of Rochester, NY; daughters, Donna Dildy Freeman (Carl) of Portland; Dorothy Guy (Ray Class) of Florida; niece, Judy Russell Jacobucci (Tony) of South Carolina; 11 grandchildren, Joshua Russell (Kathy Jo), Jacob Russell, Joel Russell (Kendra), John Freeman (Jenna), Josiah Freeman, Ben Shields (Laura), Zach Shields, Alix Sheilds, Jessica Preish (Ryan), Monica Guy, and Nathan Guy (Mandy), 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
