Obituary of Maxie Willard Phillips

Maxie Willard Phillips, age 88 of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services for Maxie Phillips are scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at 2 PM from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Todd Austin and Elder Eric Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, October 21, 2016, from 11 AM until 10 PM and on Saturday from 9 AM until the service time at 2 PM. The family requests memorial contributions be made to New Zion Missionary Baptist Church or Sherry's Run. Maxie is survived by; Wife, Carmolene Goad Phillips Daughter, Diane and Ronnie Cook Sons, Danny and Sheila Phillips Chris Phillips and Jennifer Hudson 7 Grandchildren 13 Great Grandchildren 5 Half Brothers
