Obituary of Will-Edith Woodard

Will-Edith Woodard, age 95 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 15th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Christopher Woodard, George Snow, Zachary Snow, Logan Snow, Dwayne Tucker, Richard Dickey, Riley Yates, Tommy Williams, and Matthew Woodard serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church and grandchildren, David Williams, Tad Woodard, Deacon Woodard, Elliot Woodard, Elijah Woodard, Jameson Woodard, and Dominic Woodard. Visitation will be Monday, November 14th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 15th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Woodard was born June 12, 1921 in Putman County to the late Willie Billingsley and Sarah Jeanette Lee Billingsley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Cecil Floyd Woodard. She is survived by son, David Woodard (Sue) of Gallatin; daughter, Nancy Tucker of Gallatin; niece, Deborah Woodard; 5 grandchildren, Carolyn Snow (George), Dwayne Tucker (Frankie), Wendy Williams (Tommy), David Christopher Woodard (Sacha), and Matthew Woodard; and 14 great grandchildren, Zachary Snow, Logan Snow, Ginger Dickey (Richard), Lexie Yates (Riley), David Williams, Caty Woodard, Tad Woodard, Deacon Woodard, Selah Woodard, Elliot Woodard, Aria Woodard, Elijah Woodard, Jameson Woodard, and Dominic Woodard. Mrs. Woodard was a member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church for over 70 years.
