Obituary of Ruby Ilene Young

Ruby Ilene Young, age 81 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016. Celebration of Life Fellowship to visit and share with the family will be Saturday December 3rd at Creekside Fellowship Church, 101 Harsh Lane, Castalian Springs, TN. 37066 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Mrs. Young was born October 17, 1935 in Flemingsburg, KY, to the late Franke L. Rigdon and Ruby Thomas Rigdon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Bill Rigdon and Johnny Rigdon. She is survived by husband of 62 years, Raymond Young of Gallatin; sons, Roger Young (Connie Sue) of Gallatin and Guy Young of Gallatin; daughter, Kimberly Dickson (Dale) of Hendersonville; brothers, Lonnie Rigdon (Bonnie) of Flemingsburg, KY, Marion Rigdon of Flemingsburg, KY, Doug Rigdon (Patricia) of Flemingsburg, KY; sisters, Monnie Elter (Ron) of Wallingford, KY, Wilma Smalley (Richard) of Wallingford, KY, and Carol Hosier (Jim) of Morehead, KY; 6 grandchildren, Mandy Moura (Ryan), Cheryl Young, Scott Thurman (Nisty), Steve Thurman, Currie Dickson, Jr., and Kristina Dickson; and 8 great grandchildren, Brittany Hern, Kiliah Hern, Haley Thurman, Ava Thurman, Shelby Thurman, Aliah Crafton, Cheyenne Dickson, and Houston Dickson.
