Obituary of Doris Gilmore

Doris Gilmore, age 80 of Bethpage, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017. Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 2nd at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Dickie Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 2nd from 12:00 noon until time of service. Interment will follow at Gallatin Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Gilmore was born October 17, 1936 in Trousdale County to the late Mitchell Ellis Claiborne and Willie Haggard LeCornu Claiborne. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter, Kathy Sue Gilmore. She is survived by husband of 60 years, Samuel Robert Gilmore of Bethpage; brother, John Bryant Claiborne of Lebanon; and sister, Lillian Claiborne Cothron (Bobby) of Hartsville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bledsoe's Lick Historical Association, P.O. Box 434, Castalian Springs, TN. 37031, or Creekside Fellowship Baptist Church in Castalian Springs.
