Obituary of Herbert Huckaba

Herbert Huckaba, age 81 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017.  Funeral Service will be Friday, May 12th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Friday, May 12th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.

Mr. Huckaba was born November 2, 1935 in Morgan County, TN, to the late Ernest Frank Huckaba and Lillie Mae Stagger Huckaba.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Christopher Huckaba; and 9 brothers and sisters.  He is survived by wife of 50 years, Hazel Ann Bruce Huckaba of Gallatin; daughter, Melissa Huckaba of Nashville; sister in laws, Dorothy McNeill of Gallatin, Margie Griffin of Gallatin, and Margaret Combs of Indiana; niece and caregiver, Rochelle Dixon (Earl) of Gallatin; and several other nieces and nephews.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
