Obituary of Geraldine A. Powell

Geraldine Powell, age 86 of Portland, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, July 5th 2017.  Memorial Service will be announced at a later date, Interment will follow at Old Brush Cemetery.  Mrs. Powell was born December 20, 1930 in Lebanon, TN to the late John Henry Ayers and Ova Hankins Ayers.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Charles Lumas Powell, brothers: Will T. Ayers, James Ayers, and Glen Ayers and sister, Gadell Ayers.  She is survived by children: Becky McIntosh (husband Brian) of Gallatin, TN, Tim Powell of Hopkinsville, KY, Phillip Powell of Bowling Green, KY, and Betty Fields of Portland, TN, 3 grandchildren: Brandon Barlow (wife Julie), Nathaniel Sliwowski, and Jodi Powell Jackson (husband Charles); and 6 great grandchildren.  Online condolences may be submitted atfamilyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
