Margie “Jean” Arnold, age 67 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 18th at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue), with Pastor Jackie Stagner officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April 18th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Wilson County, with James Leath, Bobby Henley, John Henley, Mike Ridings, Ron Durrett, and Curtis Hager serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Arnold was born June 2, 1950 in Lebanon to the late Claude Tippit and Ovay Murphy Tippit. She is survived by son, James Leath (Patricia Payne) of Gallatin; sisters, Dora Tippit of Gallatin and Linda Henley of Gallatin; grandchildren, Aiyana Bishop and Ava Leath; nephews Bobby Henley of Gallatin and John Henley (Chyra) of Hartsville; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Arnold worked for the City of Gallatin at Gallatin Public Utilities for 15 years. Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.
