Obituary of Fredia Mitchell

Fredia Mitchell, age 74 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 19^th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18^th from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 19^th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Kevin Boze, Jimmy Martin, Donald Martin, Tracy Martin, Kenneth Martin, Kevin Martin, Bill Spalding, Jeff Austin, and Michael Griggs serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Mitchell was born November 3, 1944 in Fountain Head, TN to the late George Bryson Carter and Ruth Allateen Durham Carter.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Eddie Mitchell.  She is survived by brothers, Carl Carter (Jennifer) of Lebanon and Larry W. Carter (Lisa) of Hartsville; sister, Darlene Calloway (Danny Boze) of Hermitage; and sister-in-law, Patsy Franklin (Tommy) of Chattanooga.  Mrs. Mitchell retired from GAPCO after over 40 years of service.  She worked for Green Bank and several years at Mitchell’s Appliance Sales and Service Store with her husband.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
