Obituary of Ed Harrison

Ed Harrison, age 93 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 29^th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, 100 Albert Gallatin, TN  37066, with Bro. Harold Blain officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday, December 29^th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment, with military honors, will follow the service at Hill Crest Municipal Cemetery, 3141 US-31 W, White House, TN  37188, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Harrison was born August 29, 1925 in Searcy, AR to the late Edward Hill Harrison, Sr. and Mable Boyington Harrison. He is preceded in death by brother, William Harrison; 2 daughters, Joy Lee Ness and Brenda Hettinger; and grandchild, Vincent Guyette.  He is survived by wife of 37 years, Donna Rae White Harrison of Gallatin; sons, Perry Ness (Wanda) of Castalian Springs and James Harrison of Greenleaf, WI; daughters, Wanda Hatton of Linden, MI, Susan Simpson (Randy) of Houston, TX, and Kathy Puikis (Michael) of Travis, FL; brothers, Jesse Harrison of Searcy, AR; sisters, Joyce Kurck of Searcy, AR, Helen Gwinn of Milwaukee, WI, and Erma Prokash (Jim) of South Carolina; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Mr. Harrison served his country in the United States Army during World War II.  He was a truck driver for 32 years.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
