Obituary of Ernestine T. Fuqua

Ernestine T. Fuqua, age 74 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Monday, February 4^th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Walter Andrews officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday, February 3^rd from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and Monday, February 4^th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Fuqua was born May 2, 1944 in Sumner County to the late Bro. John Wesley Thurman “Sonnybuck” and Beula Whitefield Thurman.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, George Fuqua; daughter, Lisa Fuqua; grandson, Andrew McDade; and brother, J. C. Thurman.  She is survived by son, Jeff Fuqua of Gallatin; brothers, David Thurman a of Bethpage and Ricky Thurman (Joyce) of Lafayette; sisters, Margaret Powers (Dewight) of Hendersonville and Vicky Proctor (Buck) of Gallatin; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie Fuqua (Liz) of Gallatin; grandchildren, Rachel Speller (Dalton) and Wesley Fuqua; and great grandchildren, Kaylynn Fuqua, Keelie Fuqua, and Jeffrey Speller.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
