Obituary of Carol Sue Shrum Roberts

Carol Sue Shrum Roberts of Gallatin, passed away Thursday March 28, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 6th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Pastor John McLendon officiating.  Visitation will be Friday, April 5th 1:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 6th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.   Entombment will follow the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens Mausoleum.  For those who would like to make memorial donations, please donate to Home Safe, 331 S. Mrs. Roberts was born July 31, 1943 in Gallatin to the late Curtis Wiseman Shrum and Carrie Rill Owens Shrum.  She is survived by husband of 55 years, Jerry Roberts of Gallatin; son, Jonathan Richard “Richie” Roberts of Gallatin; daughter, Christi Roberts Cook (Taylor) of Gallatin; godson, Patrick Link (Angela) of Murfreesboro; brothers, David Shrum (Annette) of Gallatin and Clay Shrum; sisters, Diana Green of Portland, Mickey McCullough (Roy) of Gallatin, Marla Cooke (Len) of Jacksonville, FL; and one grandchild, Malone Roberts.  Mrs. Roberts worked at Volunteer State Community College as an executive assistant for over 15 years.  In addition, she along with her husband owned Creative Flower Shop for 25 years.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
