Obituary of Mary Evelyn Brackin Hutton

Mary Evelyn Brackin Hutton, age 57 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Monday, April 8^th at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Sunday, April 7^th from 12:30 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday, April 8^th from 8:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with James Howard Brackin, Scotty Wright, Randy Wright, Cam Crutcher, Jon Weidner, and Malachi Vahle serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2000 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN  37203, High Point Hospice, Second Floor, Suite 220, 300 Steam Plant Road, Gallatin, TN  37066, or Sumner County Food Bank, 1021 Woods Ferry Road, Gallatin, TN  37066.

Mrs. Hutton was born February 16, 1962 in Gallatin to the late James Woodson Brackin and Mary Lou Crews Brackin.  She is survived by husband of 16 years, Thomas Joseph “Joe” Hutton of Gallatin; Three sisters, Kathy Wright (Randy) of Gallatin, Sharon Brackin of Gallatin, and Sandra Trembath (Ron) of Mascoutah, IL; brother, James H. (Kim) Brackin of Gallatin; nephew, Randall Scott “Scotty” Wright II of Seattle, WA; niece, Katie Brackin of Mascoutah, IL; and nephew, Garrett Brackin of Gallatin.  She was a graduate of Gallatin High School Class of 1980 and then attended Volunteer State Community College.  Mary has worked many places over the years, starting at Dairy Queen and ending with 18 years at the Gap Campus in Gallatin.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
