Obituary of Jerry Wayne Cox

Jerry Wayne Cox, age 70 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 10^th at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, April 9^th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April 10^th from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., with military honors.

Mr. Cox was born August 16, 1948 in Sumner County, to the late Tommy Reese Cox, Sr. and Jewel Woodard Cox.   He is survived by wife, Lois Cox of Gallatin; brother, Tommy R. Cox, Jr. (Shelia) of Gallatin; nieces, Stacey Lemons, Melody Glover, Joy Poor (Shannon); nephew, Tommy Cox III (Kayla); and several great nieces and nephews.  Jerry served his country in the United States Army.  He retired from General Electric after over 30 years of service.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
