Obituary of Harold Simpson

Harold Simpson, age 76 of Gallatin, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 25th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral, with Bro. Larry Graves officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday, April 24th from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 25th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memorial Gardens, with Harvey Thaxton, Travis Porter, Danny Smith, Austin Harris, Jimmy Griggs, and Ralph McGuffie serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers are Luke Simpson, Lexton Sutton, and Bill Burton.

Mr. Simpson was born August 25, 1942 in College Grove, TN to the late Luke Simpson and Beulah Harper Simpson.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Ben Simpson and Charles Simpson; and sisters, Cora Scott, Nellie Barnes, and Betty Jo Wade.  He is survived by wife of 57 years, Patsy Smith Simpson; son Michael Simpson (Andrea) of Gallatin; daughter, Pam Burton of Gallatin; brother, Landon Simpson (June) of Cottontown; sisters, Martha Smith of Port St. Lucie, FL and Bobbie Sue Covell (Leo) of Port St. Lucie, FL; 5 grandchildren, Amy Polk, Autumn Harris (Austin), Jessie Simpson, Luke Simpson, and Allie Simpson; and 5 great grandchildren, Dakota Polk, Lexton Sutton, Baylee Anderson, Rylan Harris, and Anabelle Polk.  Mr. Simpson retired from Miracle Ford in sales after over 35 years of service.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
