Obituary of Ricky Dale Templeton

Ricky Dale Templeton, age 66 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, May 9^th at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Wednesday, May 8^th from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, May 9^th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m.  There will be a Masonic Service Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. 

Mr. Templeton was born June 14, 1952 in Gallatin to the late Bernice Templeton and Theresa Phillips Templeton.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Tony Templeton; and sister, Jeanette Templeton.  He is survived by wife, Margaret Monday Templeton of Gallatin; son, Brandon Templeton of Castalian Springs; daughter, Chandra Templeton (Doug Guzman) of Portland; step-son, Rocky Ratliff (Tina) of Mumfordville, KY; brother, Roger Templeton of Gallatin and Jimmy Templeton (Elizabeth) of Gallatin; sister, Penny Templeton of Bethpage; and 2 grandchildren, Austin Templeton and Madison Ratliff.  He retired from the Sumner County Sherriff Department after over 30 years of service.  Mr. Templeton was a member of Masonic Lodge #521 in Bethpage.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
