Obituary of Shirley Temple Rodgers

Shirley Temple Rodgers, age 83 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, August 28^th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Rev. John Penfield officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, August 27^th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 28^th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Rodgers was born April 11, 1936 in Defeated, TN to the late Carsie Ray Brooks and Laura West Brooks.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Leslie Freeman Rodgers; daughter, Linda Scott; and grandson, Bryan White.  She is survived by children, Barbara Lane (Marty) of Knoxville, Steve Scott (Susan) of Huntsville, AL, Virginia White (Mark) of Gallatin, Mark Scott (Carol) of Gallatin, and Kathy Anderson (Don) of Foley, MN; brother, Bobby Brooks (Lily) of Carmel, IN; 9 grandchildren, Angie King (Herman), Kimm McGill (Corey), Jennifer Miller (Jeremy), Elizabeth Scott, Andrew Scott (Ashley), Stephanie Webb (Joseph), Erin Flora, Erin Gonzalez (Arturo), and Eric Anderson; 13 great grandchildren, Kailey McCloud (Josh), Hannah King, Makenzey Floyd, Jadden Anderson, Elise Anderson, Jaxson Floyd, Tucker Scott, Brooks Miller, Lynnley Miller, Kate Webb, Alex Webb, Oliver Flora, and Nolan Flora; 2 great-great grandchildren, Kyndra McCloud and Jordyn McCloud; and many nieces and nephews.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
