Obituary of Charles Porter, Jr.

Charles Porter, Jr. age 87 of Madison, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019.  Celebration of Life will be Sunday, November 3^rd at 10:30 a.m. at Madison Campus Seventh-day Adventist Church, 607 Larkin Springs Road, Madison, TN  37115.

Mr. Porter was born November 5, 1931 in Mayfield, KY, to the late Charlie H. Perry Porter, Sr and Mary Anne Porter.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Beatrice M. Crowe Porter; and brother, Paul Porter.  He is survived by son, Kenneth C. Porter (Debra Green) of Knoxville; daughter, Virginia Medanich (David) of White House; sisters, Wanda Jean McMullin of Madison and Linda Lloyd of Madison; 5 grandchildren, Stephen Charles Porter, Jameson Paul Porter (Ashley), Matthew Medanich (Dianne), Jessica Medanich, and Stephanie Medanich; and 6 great grandchildren, Maiya Medanich, Chloe Medanich, Emmie Medanich, Mason Medanich, Faith Porter, and Hannah Porter.  Mr. Porter worked for Southern Newspaper Publishers Association and for Review and herald Publishing Association.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored to assist the family.
