Obituary of Paul R. Taylor

Paul R. Taylor, age 76 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 5^th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Chris Ford and Bro. Eric Latimer officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday, December 4^th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, December 5^th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Interment, with Military Honors, will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Anthony Nichols, Bradley Greer, Braxton Nichols, Jordon Moss, Zachary Taylor, Houston Taylor, and Ross Mize serving as pallbearers. 

Mr. Taylor was born July 18, 1943 in Cottontown to the late Elmer Taylor and Sylvia Price Taylor.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Bobby Taylor; and mother of his children, Charlotte Green Taylor.  He is survived by son, Vincent Taylor (Brenda) of Westmoreland; daughter, Gwendolen Moss (Mario Corley) of Franklin, KY; step-daughter, Terri White; wife, Kathy McCullough Taylor; brothers, Charles Taylor of Indiana and Ricky Taylor of Indiana; sisters, Teresa T. Hyde of Indiana, Patricia Taylor of Indiana, and Sylvia Schugen of Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.  Mr. Taylor served our country in the National Guard.  He worked for Cresent Manufacturing, Fuqua Cab, Pipers Flea Market, and retired from Peterbilt after 26 years of service.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
