I love you Uncle Elton "Fat Goose". I remember when we were eating at the Brawner Reunion outside at Daddy Brawners house, you would always come hug or "poke at me" in your sweet and silly way... Also, you would steal food off my plate! LOL you silly Goose... You always made me feel welcome, included and loved. I thank you for all those years of being sweet Uncle Fat Goose. I remember when I was Baptized near your house and Momma drove me over to eat and spend time at your house afterwards... Teddy and I played on the farm and Teddy would talk to his Chickens! I'll never forget you and your sweet music....sweet Uncle Elton....

I just watched the video of Uncle Elton. Part of the time I had tears streaming down my face but then a smile would come to my face seeing some of the pictures that show how much fun he was. Some also brought back happy memories of being at Mama and Daddy Brawners place. Bill's daughter has Uncle Elton's obituary on her Facebook page. I'm glad some of the younger members of our family had the opportunity to know and love him too. He was a treasure and I know he is going to be missed so much. He meant alot to alot of people. So hard for everyone to not get to be with y'all now with the quarantining going on. Know many would like to come honor his memory and offer their sympathy. To go be with the Lord on Easter is a wonderful thing. I also think what a glad reunion day must have been with those who have gone before. We love y'all and thinking of you. Pat Gregory Rush

I am Clifton's daughter, Brenda. I remember being at Uncle Bethel's there at the old home place and Mr. Elton being there several times when I was a young girl. "Buck's boys", as my Dad always called them, always stopped by to see us when we were there visiting. I send my condolences to the rest of the family.
