Obituary of Howard Whitaker

Howard Whitaker, age 75 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Gathering of Friends will be Friday, May 8th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home. There will be a Private Burial and Service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 478 Craighead Street #200, Nashville, TN 37204. Mr. Whitaker was born July 10, 1944 in Nashville to the late William Edward Whitaker and Era Christine Hawkins Whitaker. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Pamela L. Whitaker; and sister, Martha Hester. He is survived by sons, Andy Whitaker (Patti) of Mt. Juliet and Brian Whitaker (Angie) of Hendersonville; daughter, Beth Weatherly (Jeff) of Spring Hill, TN; brother, David Whitaker (Bertie Jo) of Goodlettsville; sister, Edie Kirkpatrick (Ricky) of White House; and 6 grandchildren, Annette Whitaker, Eli Whitaker, Seth Whitaker, Justin Weatherly, Hannah Weatherly, and Nathan Whitaker.
