Obituary of Rayburn Wayne Cothron

Mr. Rayburn Wayne Cothron, age 79, of the Old Bottom Community in Macon County, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral Services for Mr. Rayburn Wayne Cothron are scheduled to be conducted on Friday, May 15, 2020, at 11 AM, with Elder Jason Goad officiating. Interment will follow in the Nelson McDonald Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, May 14, 2020, from 5 PM until 8 PM, and on Friday, from 9 AM until service time at 11 AM. Family request donations be made to the Nelson McDonald Cemetery. Mr. Cothron was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Denton Cothron and Jewel Gregory Cothron; brother, H.C. Cothron; and Sister, Willie Evelyn Johnson. He is survived by; Wife, Mable Petty Cothron Nephews, Jerry Johnson and wife, Evelyn Stan Johnson Jeff Johnson A host of extended family also survives.
