Mr. Harold “Pee Wee” Atkins, age 69, of Lafayette, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at his residence. Graveside services and Inurnment for Mr. Harold Atkins are scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 11 AM from The Lafayette City Cemetery with Brother Mark Gammons and Reverend Kenneth Wix officiating. There will be no visitation here at the funeral home. Harold Atkins is preceded in death by his first wife of forty-six years, Virginia Bergdorf Atkins; parents, Letcher Atkins and Oma Evans Atkins; siblings, Joe Atkins, Willard Atkins, Lois Anderson, and Wanda Walrond. He is survived by; Wife, Sue Atkins Children, Jennifer Brawner and husband, Troy Terry Atkins and wife, Gilda Brother, Sam Atkins Grandchildren, Sheena Sewell and husband, Randall Mandy Stinson and husband, Shawn Maghen Joyner and husband, Kevin Josh Brawner and wife, Megan Holden Atkins and wife, Tori Honorary Grandson, Torrey Lowhorn Step-Children, Melissa Rice and husband, Mike Justin Samples and wife, Marcy Step-Grandson, Malachi Rice Fifteen Great-Grandchildren, Two Great-Great-Grandchildren, and Several Nieces and Nephews Whom he Loved Dearly.
