Sherry Ann Lockabey

Gestures
Sherry was a giver. She gave my brother and I our first summer job as teenagers, painting a few rooms in her house, she gave me hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of sewing supplies, she gave her love and shared her passions with anyone who asked.
I loved so much playing the piano for Sherry to sing with the children in primary. I will always remember her German version of Head. Shoulders, Knees & Toes! I also was privileged to serve as her visiting teacher. She served me more than I had the chance to serve her! She sewed nice gifts for me and my grandchildren. Then when she was ready to stop sewing she gave us free lessons and free materials so we cod sew too! The most generous and loving soul I've known... enjoy your sweet reunion with your husband, Sherry!
Sherry was an amazing woman of faith and love! She not only taught as a teacher but in how she lived her life. She was a great example of love, kindness and charity in how she spoke about, served and treated others!
Sherry had adventures that very few of us will ever have the privileged of experiencing. She taught General George Pattans children in Europe during the war. She could tell some funny stories of parent/teacher conferences! And oh how she loved the children, all children!
A true example of Christ like love, she will be forever in our hearts!
Our condolences to her children and grandchildren. RIP Sherry, we love you! The Gieseke's
We are sorry for your loss. Please be aware thewe shar in your sorrow. Sherry, was such a great person, teacher and friend, She will live on in our memories forever. My heartfelt condolences. ~The Millwood's~
The last 18 months with Sherry have been a rollercoaster of highs and lows and yarn expeditions. Lucky for us a Hobby Lobby opened nearby or she'd have worn the tires off our car... We will miss your jokes and smile Sherry, but your selflessness and giving attitude is warming the necks of many a person this winter and you've literally touched more lives than will ever be known.
