We were so sad to hear the news about Tammy. I have a lot of happy memories of her. She helped my parents when they were older. She did a great job. She was kind and tenderhearted, caring and loved animals , cows and cats and all in-between. I remember Dad saying she crossed the road and went to the creek to check on a little baby calf. She rescued some little critter that dad's cat she called BIG KITTY was probably going to have for lunch.Even when dad went to the hospital and was on a ventilator Tammy hung right in there with him. She and some other folks came to visit, Aunt Lavada, Teresa Swindle and Donna I believe. The nurses turned the ventilator off from time to time at the hospital for safety's sake to let Dad wake up. He couldn't talk to us with that in his mouth and throat but he could hear us and respond. Tammy said if you love me wiggle your toes. Dad was from the generation that wasn't real demonstrative, but we knew he loved us. There was a little pause and then wiggle wiggle wiggle went dad's toes. There was a laugh in the room. She was a strong woman as well, a great advocate if you needed one. So glad we knew her. She will be greatly missed.
