Obituary of Timothy "Little Man" Barker

Timothy “Little Man” Barker, age 60 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 after a lengthy illness. Memorial Service will be at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29th in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Sherry Smith officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 29th from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. Mr. Barker was born December 12, 1960 in Adrian, MI to the late Vernon Eugene Barker and Mildred May Ackley Barker. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Richard Barker. He is survived by daughter, Kira Jean Barker of Morenci, MI; brother, Ronald Barker of Adrian, MI; sisters, Carol Randolph (Ron) of Tecumseh, MI, Beverly Barker of Adrian, MI, and Brenda Blatt (Ed) of Culleoka, TN; 2 grandsons, Grant and Hunter; many nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Dennis Barnes; and a best friend, Steve Peterson. Mr. Barker graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1979. Tim worked at Kirby Building Systems in Portland, TN for years as a welder. Tim was a member of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club.
