Candle 6
Deborah Emberton
Monnie, Debbie and Donnie..well I just now found out about the lighting a candle..I know you have already went through the service abd all but I hope someday you come back and see my post..I just want you all to know when I was 11 years old in 1978 my mother heard about Walton's Chappel Church of Christ and really wanted to go because she was looking for a nice place to go and be happy and raise my brother Michael and myself..she made a call and asked is there someone or a van to come get me and my children because she didbt have a license she never was taught how to drive. I remember the first time us 3 was picked up...you alls mom and dad...Mr. and Mrs. Donald and Wilma Gann...Of course I dont need to tell y'all your dad won me right over he picked and laughed with me and my brother and we instantly loved him...Ms. Wilma now there is a true lady..A wonderful woman and at 51 when Ms. Wilma drove some at the end she was still going by and picking up my mother Carolyn Emberton..40 years of all them and lots of years me and my brother...I dont have to tell yall how wonderful your mother was you already know but not many would go by 3 times a week to pick up a woman her children and then the woman by herself for a few years and do it for 40 years! I loved your mom for who she was and everything she did for my mother...They of course got very close and I used to always help my mother pick out Christmas gifts for your mother and father because apparently during those 40 years they became family to each other...I am thankful Ms Wilma lived a long life..I will never forget her and all the goodness she did for my family...God Bless you
