Obituary of David Smith

Dave Smith passed away on February 6, 2021 at age 83. The Memorial Service, conducted by Pastor David Calhoun is 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 530 until the service at 6:30 p.m. Richard David Smith was born in Chicago IL to Rosalie Hickok and Miles W Smith. He served in the United States Air Force and the National Guard. He enjoyed bird watching, going to garage sales, collecting coins, attending church, and being with his family. He is survived by children Cheryl (Tom) Mellen, Rena (Keith) Angell, Brenda (Val) King, and Don (Sherri) Ortiz, 8 grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly, 8 great-grandchildren, siblings James (Sheila) Smith and Kay (George) Allmon, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Linda L. Smith, his son Douglas J. Smith, his parents Rosalie and Miles Smith, sister Frances Corbin, and first wife Bernita Holcomb Smith.
